This custom illustration by Charlotte alumnus, John “Frate” Iafrate (class of 2002) is the perfect piece to complete any mancave, or even placed above the mantle the fanciest of living rooms. It features our beloved mascot, Norm the Niner, as the star of his own comic book. The Indestructable Norm is on his way up from the classic mineshaft as he shows off his bulging biceps with a smirk. He carries his all-powerful, golden pickaxe that most people wouldn’t dare to take shot from (most people)! His facial hair is a hat tip to the classic logo the niners used in the 80’s to help bridge the old with the new. If you look close at the corner box, you’ll find a few Easter eggs the is sure to be a hit with fellow niners.
